中国人假托佛说所撰经典。作者不详。一卷。篇幅甚短,仅二百余字。本经好几处经文实据《观世音经》及净土经典敷衍而成,重点在宣传净土思想。文内“螺文”、“重光”等提法,证实本经确为中国人所撰。本经最早见录于隋《法经录》卷四,被判为伪经。其后诸经录均有著录,但未为历代大藏经所收。敦煌遗书中有收藏,后被收入日本《大正藏》第八十五卷,但录文略有误。
