《伤寒论》是东汉张机所著《伤寒杂病论》中论述伤寒病证的部分。《伤寒杂病论》原16卷，约成书于公元3世纪。该书至魏晋时已有散失，经王叔和收集整理始得存世，后在流传过程中析分为《伤寒论》和《金匮要略》二书。北宋时期，政府成立校正医书局，对诸多医学古籍进行校勘整理，《伤寒论》则是其中之一。
