全一卷。清代石成金（字天基，号惺斋）撰，其子峷年、嵩年校刻。收于卍续藏第一一二册。系石成金所著传家宝四集中之一部分。内题传家宝禅宗直指，内题之下附有‘明心见性须知，成佛成祖要法’十二字；故知本书旨在阐说明心见性、成佛作祖之要法。内容初以密传参禅要法四十六项，详细论述悟道功夫之法门；次以密传佛法通旨十项，释明世人对佛法之若干质难。
