《太一救苦护身妙经》，撰人不详。从内容文字看，盖系隋唐道士所作。收入《正统道藏》洞玄部本文类。经文乃元始天尊演说，宣称太一救苦天尊神通无量，功行无穷。「寻声救苦，应物随机」。世人如遇各种苦难，只须唱呼「太一救苦天尊」之名，念诵圣号。天尊即应化现身，前来救护。
